BEIJING AND IT’S 人
BEIJING AND IT’S 人
Okay, so here’s a totally un-moany post about how I really miss Beijing and it’s people…
First of all, the city is full of wonderful places such as The Village, Luga’s, even that shopping centre near the school :). And also really boring clichéd places such as the Great Wall (I’ve been like 14 times… it gets sooo boring), which I did not look forward to. Even the smoggy skyline, with its many buildings is amiable… Even the pollution :). Beijing has been amazing, and I plan to live here when I’m older, I love the feel of the cold, dense air at 4 A.M. I love the many street markets and the general busy-ness of the people compared to the laidback-ness of a teenager. Beijing was the place I first fell in love, had my first kiss at 2:20 A.M :). And I consider it to be the city in which I grew up. It is by far my bestest, most favouritetist city in the world :D.
The people… the locals… I love them… They’re so friendly; I can’t even remember how many dodgy, “half-lingual” conversations I had with taxi drivers :). And if you went to a market… OMG… Yashow (雅秀)I love many times I bargained down scarves from 250元-10元 for Christmas presents :). And I’ll never forget the time George, Chen, Elijah, Lizzie, Naomi, Hannah and I went round the weekend before Halloween trying to get costumes for… Dare I say it? Harrow-Scream :). England will NEVER, EVER compare.
